Their origins may be some few thousand kilometres away in Denmark, but Pandora has earned a strong reputation for empowering Australian fashion and emerging home-grown designers.
Having previously served as the presenting partner of Australian Fashion Week (AFW) in 2024, this year, the Nordic jewellery house reserved a selection of precious pieces for Alix Higgins’ AFW presentation.
An emerging darling of Australia’s fashion industry, all eyes were naturally on Alix’s Resort 26 collection. With the buzz of the week now behind us, what’s certainly worth a second look is the styling — specifically, the hand-finished Pandora pieces that adorned the models and complimented the new collection.
Of course, the total ensembles are worth adding to your Pinterest board (or cart).

Bracelets were in abundance this year, with most models seen sporting the staple Pandora charm bracelet, heavily embellished with charms to create a clustered, timelessly bold look. Each jewellery piece spotted on the runway fused elegance and edge, seamlessly aligning with Alix’s creations. The high-quality silver, gold, and gemstone-encrusted pieces (that are exclusive to Pandora) were a catalyst in creating an overarching, poetic, whimsical feel to the collection that was underscored on the runway.
Understated pendants and statement necklaces were also integral features of the final looks, elevating Alix’s clothing and accessories that were comprised of mixed textiles, printed furs and hand-painted fabrics.
When Cosmo caught up with Alix ahead of the runway, he said of this collection: “I always want to challenge myself, to do something outside of my comfort zone. So the idea was to start with something folk, bohemian in a sense, a free spirit — something with hand feel, but then bringing all of that into a digital space, a sort of future folk. I think you have to work in ways that make you uncomfortable to get to an interesting place.”

As the exclusive jewellery partner of his show, Pandora collaborated with Alix to create a custom charm edit, ensuring that every item of jewellery perfectly flattered his free-spirited style.
Final consensus? No notes.
