Another year, another season of Married at First Sight Australia to dash our hopes that love is real.
It’s safe to say MAFS 2025 has already been one hell of a ride, with honeymoon walk-outs, a “cheating” scandal and only two couples who actually seem to get along (Jamie and Dave forever).
Since it’s billed as an “experiment,” it’s almost a surprise MAFS is still running, given the first few seasons answered the experts’ hypothesis on whether a pressure-cooker faux-marriage can result in lasting love with a big, fat “NO.” The show’s success rate is pretty slim, largely thanks to the crazy drama, scandals and gossip. However, a few couples have beaten the odds and stood the test of time.
Scroll on for all the MAFS Australia couples that are still together.

Erin Bateman and Bryce Mohr: Season 2
Erin Bateman and Bruce Mohr, the lovebirds from MAFS season 2 prove that love can be found anywhere… especially on a reality TV show.
Despite breaking up for a little bit in 2017, the couple is still standing strong in 2025, and the pair prefer to keep their social presence minimal and their relationship private.
Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli: Season 6
Despite early reports of the couple breaking up post-show, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli are still together and stronger than ever!
The couple’s love affair was strong from day dot of MAFS, from their wedding ceremony all the way through to their final vows when Michael confessed that he was willing to uproot his life in Melbourne and move to Bondi.
Now, the couple are engaged and welcomed their son Lucius into the world, in February 2023. The pair remain active on social media, sharing with fans the love they have for each other and their family.
Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant: Season 6
Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant’s love affair began when they tied the knot on MAFS season 6. They were regarded by fans as the least dramatic couple, and were seemingly there for all the right reasons.
As the couple went through the final commitment ceremony, Cam made MAFS history and proposed to Jules… *for real*.
The couple celebrated their second wedding outside of the show with friends and family, and now, happily live together with two sons, Oliver Chase Merchant and Carter James Merchant.
Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente: Season 8
After meeting at the altar during season 8 of MAFS, Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente have managed to go the distance and achieve milestones along the way.
After the season 8 reunion, Johnny revealed that he was “Heavily in love with Kerry.” The couple now live together, and in a sweet Instagram post in 2021, announced they has welcomed a baby girl Chloe Rossi Balbuziente.
The couple also officially tied the knot IRL in 2023.
Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven: Season 8
One of the most talked about couples on MAFS season 8 have stood the test of time after leaving the experiment.
Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven were deemed the “MAFS villains,” for their complex dynamic on the show, however they have criticised the network for portraying them in a negative light.
Since leaving the show, Melissa and Bryce welcomed twin boys, Levi and Tate in 2021 and tied the knot *officially* on February 24, 2023, in an intimate outdoor ceremony in the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James: Season 10
Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James met on the set of Season 10 MAFS—when they were matched up by the experts to different partners. They went official with their relationship after the season ended. In August, 2023 it was confirmed that the pair had moved in together and Evelyn celebrated their one year anniversary on Instagram, sharing that they had a great time with friends and family.
Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo: Season 11
Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo met on season 11 of MAFS Australia.
The happy couple hit it off during their time on the show and committed to each other at their final vows ceremony. However, in a candid Instagram Q&A Jade shared to her followers the struggles she experienced in the experiment and how she doubted her relationship with Ridge early on.
The couple have remained together ever since, though with Ridge moving from Sydney to Jade’s hometown on the Gold Coast.
Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley: Season 11
Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams’ MAFS journey was far from smooth sailing, however, the couple has stayed together.
Throughout the season rumours plagued the couple, as Jack was rumoured to be staying with his ex-fiancee during homestays. Things also worsened when Jack told Jonathan to “muzzle your woman” when discussing his wife Lauren, leading expert John Aiken to call him out.
Fans were also left cringing when Jack asked Tori to “convince” him she was the “hottest” during the photo ranking challenge, and when he called fellow grooms Timothy and Tristan, “whales.”
Jack also failed to adequately express his feelings to Tori during final vows, saying he didn’t love Tori but still wanted to continue their relationship in the outside world.
However, the couple have since moved in together as of May 2024 and are one of the few remaining couples from season 11.
Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough: Season 11
The season 11 stars who were not matched on the show but began a relationship after final vows, celebrated their first anniversary on 11 November, 2024.
Ellie was originally paired with Ben by the experts; but it didn’t take long for their relationship to crumble, with the couple deciding to leave during the fourth commitment ceremony.
Although Jono made it all the way to final vows to wife Lauren, the pair split during the ceremony when Lauren ended things after discovering from the group that Jono had been in contact with Ellie. Lauren and Ellie went on to get into a rather fiery argument during the reunion show.
However, a year later, Lauren has given the couple her best wishes for the future, and Jono and Ellie have been enjoying life together outside of the show.
