Season 4 of television’s sauciest (and most stressful) cooking show, The Bear has officially dropped on Disney+, which means a few things. One, Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy (and his biceps) are back in a perfect white T-shirt spiralling in a commercial kitchen. Two, Ayo Edibiri’s loveable yet bumbling Sydney will fail to finish a single sentence with any semblance of conviction, and expletives will be deployed with the frequency of “yo cousin!”’s and “yes chef!”’s. Ah, it feels good to be home.
All 10 episodes of the montage-heavy series will drop at once, which means those among us with no anxiety or vaguely stressful aspects to our lives will be able to watch the entire thing at once. And the rest of us will be able to preserve our mental health by spacing the episodes out over a week and a half. Choose your own adventure. Naturally though, we’re already curious as to whether the world’s most dysfunctional kitchen might manage to endure another service (season).
Will There Be A Season 5 Of ‘The Bear’?
Obviously, it will depend on the plot line of season 4 and whether it leaves room for a fifth season, and whether the cast are keen to sign on again. Last year, The Bear received 23 Emmy nods for a season that garnered mixed audience reviews, so based on its critical acclaim, the prospect of the show getting renewed is likely. As of yet though, there haven’t been any words from its producers. When Variety asked FX Chairman John Landgraf if season 4 might be The Bear’s final, he said, “We really don’t know. These decisions are really creative decisions.”

Who Would Star In Season 5 Of ‘The Bear’?
It goes without saying that The Bear is not The Bear without Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy Berzatto. We dare say Carmy would be even more of a shell of himself without his sidekick Sydney, so Ayo Edibiri would surely reprise her role too. And as anyone who’s dabbled in commercial cookery will tell you, the show doesn’t go on without someone on every station, so here’s hoping the rest of the culinary cast would be back too.
Where Can You Stream ‘The Bear’?
All 10 episodes of The Bear are available to stream from June 26 on Disney+. We recommend having a stress ball on standby.
