After ending its most recent season on a nail-biting cliffhanger, show creators proceeded to wait almost a month to confirm another instalment.

Is Yellowjackets Season 4 Confirmed?
Yes, after weeks of anticipation following the Season 3 finale, Showtime and Paramount confirmed it had renewed Yellowjackets for a fourth season.
“Yellowjackets has become a cultural juggernaut, with season three shattering all previous records – we are thrilled to announce its renewal for a season four on Paramount+,” said Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, in a statement to Deadline. “Ashley [Lyle] and Bart [Nickerson] have masterfully crafted an utterly singular, genre-defying phenomenon — a perfect alchemy of psychological horror, survival thriller, and coming-of-age drama that continues to captivate audiences worldwide, brought to life by our extraordinarily talented and beloved cast.”
Yellowjackets Season 4 Release Date
A release date for Yellowjackets Season 4 has not been confirmed. Given filming is yet to begin, we might have a while yet to wait, unfortunately.
Who Will Be In The Cast of Yellowjackets Season 4?
With death after death proving incredibly imminent throughout the series, it’s hard to say who will live to see another day in Yellowjackets Season 4. We can get some assurance knowing there are a few characters that must have survived in the 1996 time period as their grown-up selves are already apart of the show’s present-day storyline.

What Has The Cast Of Yellowjackets Said?
Prior to the confirmation, speaking to The Direct about Yellowjackets Season 3, Sophie Nélisse (who plays teen Shauna in the show) shared her positive insight around the likelihood of a renewal on the cards.
Sophie said, “I haven’t heard anything, but I think it would be crazy if we didn’t get one. Maybe I’m just being delusional…I mean, the finale of Season 3 is so strong and so powerful and leaves you on such a cliffhanger that there’s no way, in my mind, we’re not being renewed.”
Series creators have also previously stated that a Yellowjackets season 4 was always something they had in their plans, but the fate of the series ultimately lay in Paramount’s hands.

Where Can I Watch Yellowjackets In Australia?
Paramount+ is the exclusive streaming platform for Yellowjackets Seasons 2 and 3 in Australia, though Season 1 was recently added to Netflix.
